| maybe it's the jetlag or just the starbucks frap i had today, but i found myself disturbed from my peaceful slumber and suddenly wide awake at 1am.. after tossing and turning for an hour and a half, i decide to go downstairs for some of the most excellent cookies that chris baked..
who would have thought that at 230 am, i'd find, in addition to the milk and cookies, my mom and sister ALSO awake and looking for a mid night snack?
and so it happened that the three of us crazy sleepless ladies ended up chit chatting around the kitchen table while the rest of the world is (hopefully) fast asleep....

| it's been 1yr + 1day since my last post.. amazing how time flies.. yes,
time flies.. FAST.. this reality presented itself quite vividly last
nite as eileen and i went (in all of our nerdiness) to the mc
invitational to see what has become of our descendant bandos.. not so
much the whole-- being at our old high school-- thing, but running into
so many younger bandos who are now alumni.. what a scary thought, when
those i will always perceive as 'my kids' are now alumni as well.. if
they're old, then what does that make me?? better yet, what does that
make eileen?? (just kidding, ei.. i just HAD to throw that in cuz i
know you're reading this =P)
aside from that.. yes, a year has passed.. many things have changed..
moved out with some friends.. started to think about becoming a math
teacher.. got discouraged from that.. switched back to engineering..
graduated.. moved back home.. and am now looking (slowly cuz quite
honestly, i'm loving the lifestyle of no work and no school) for a
'real grown-up job'..
but the biggest change is a new addition to my life, i so
affectionately call GILBERT.. i could write a bajillion pages and
entries, but you should just meet him in real life! =)

i have NOT been studying and i just failed three midterms.. the sad thing is, it's not even really a big deal to me right now..
something has to change between now and... the near future | | |
| first off, happy 21st birthday yesterday to kristina roskos celebrating in HK.. happy 21st bday today to v.yee!!!!! and happy 21st bday tomorrow to kenken in SWEDEN!
so the big future question has been hitting me big time over the last month or two.. i still have yet to figure out where my life is headed, but i had some good laughs to relieve the nervous tension.. i can always count on great friends like johnny for that =)
